“In December 2021, I found a beautiful English Springer Spaniel on-line for sale from a breeder and fell in love. His name was Opie so we kept his name. He was so darn cute but came to us very skittish at 5 months old. I had trained 3 other dogs, but with this one, I knew I was out of my league.
It was very difficult with two dogs as Opie was not even trained to walk on a leash. I had to teach him basic commands but he was just wild. He would put his front paws on the kitchen counter. He was scared of kids and noises and any dog running towards him. My wife was very sick at the time so I knew I needed some help to get this guy under control.
After researching a bit in the early spring I found Sarah. She came to my home for an hour each week for 8 weeks to work with Opie. He growled at her for the first 3 weeks. Sarah’s skills are excellent and she makes sure you understand what she is telling you. She teaches you the methods to control your dog. And we had to work on building Opie’s confidence.
Opie is almost 4 years old now. I can highly recommend Sarah as a dog trainer. She understands all breeds of dogs and can customize a training program that is the best fit for you and your dog. Spitz
“My husband and I adopted a 2 ½ year old Shepherd-Husky mix named Spitz. He’s a sweet dog, but we were having a hard time trying to discipline him. Additionally, due to a health condition, I have balance issues, and I was worried about trying to walk him because he is 60 pounds, and he pulled a lot on the leash. Sarah came to our home and worked with us and Spitz once per week for 5 weeks. After 5 weeks, Spitz is disciplined, and walks well on the leash, and I am able to take him out for walks without concern. Sarah is professional and reliable.
